800 years ago the lands of Marador were torn by a cataclysmic event that threatened to destroy land. Now, 800 years later, many things have changed. Most of the north-western Marador is under the control of Chastallion, a proud kingdom of men forged thought blood and battle, and in the north lays the cold ice. In the south mighty nations struggle for power and in the east there is nothing but shadows and twilight.
